Scandal once again hits Currituck County as a public official faces indictment for alleged embezzlement following an inquiry into irregularities at the lower Currituck Fire House. The grand jury’s indictment, issued on March 25, 2024, led to the issuance of an arrest warrant for Amanda Lamb of Shawboro, NC, on March 26, 2024. Lamb posted a secured bond of $97,000.00 on the same day.

    If memory serves correct, this is not the first incident/problem at Lower Currituck Fire Department.
