On April 16, 2024, Daniel Dryden Paris of Harbinger, NC, was arrested by Currituck County Sheriff Deputies at his residence. Paris faces twelve charges of Third Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. He is currently being held on a $125,000.00 secured bond. It’s important to note that Paris is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

In North Carolina, Third Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor is defined as the act of knowingly possessing material that contains visual representations of a minor engaging in sexual activity. This offense is classified as a felony and is punishable by law. It’s important to recognize that such charges involve serious legal implications and should be addressed through the appropriate legal processes.
