UPDATE: February 13, 2024, If the Currituck County Board of Commissioners were truly concerned about the County Manager’s job being advertised, wouldn’t they have taken action against InsightGlobal at this point. The job has been active on InsightGlobal’s website for 39 days now.

February 2, 2024, At the very center of this contentious issue was the advertisement of County Manager Ike McRee’s job on the Internet after the board’s decision not to renew his contract. Commissioners Paul Beaumont and Bob White asked InsightGlobal to remove the job posting. But 28 days later, the job is still advertised on InsightGlobal’s website.
