Heavenly Father,

In the midst of turmoil and discord within the county government, we humbly come before You, seeking Your divine intervention. We pray for calm and collected heads among the commissioners and county staff entangled in infighting and controversy. Guard their hearts from the damaging effects of strife and protect them from guilt by association.

Lord, grant discernment and wisdom to those involved so that they may navigate through these challenging times with clarity and understanding. May Your peace prevail over any animosity, fostering cooperation and mutual respect. Shield the careers and reputations of those unwittingly drawn into the controversy, guarding them from unjust harm.

We also pray for transparency in government, especially where secrecy prevails. Illuminate the path toward openness, honesty, and accountability. May the county board leaders recognize the importance of fostering trust through clear communication and honest governance.

Lord, be the guiding force in the decisions the county government makes. May Your light dispel any darkness, and Your truth prevails over secrecy. We entrust this situation into Your hands, trusting that Your divine wisdom will lead to resolutions that bring unity, understanding, and transparency.
