Greg Murphy sent the message below to his constituents, and I thought it worth sharing with our large Veteran base here in Currituck.

 North Carolina’s 3rd District is home to over 76,000 veterans, constituting 9.8% of the state’s total population. As their representative in Congress, my mission is to protect their benefits and amplify their voice.

In Congress, I’m proud to have passed into law a bill that extends the VA Committee’s authority to provide essential services and improve the quality of life for veterans. And this week, I introduced the HOPE Act, bipartisan legislation to combat opioid overdoses among veterans, as well as the use of non-prescribed drugs such as fentanyl and heroin.
